All the tides and fate7/2/2023 ![]() ![]() ![]() Sweet ferrick, I loved him and vataea together. I will say, though, I did like the depictions of grief and panic attacks we get with amora following the events of book 1.īut of course, every group needs its glue, and that's ferrick. She has such a cool character development arc, and amora is kind of a pain. I wish she'd been the main character rather than amora. My girl really said you lot suck and you can all sod off, and I love that for her. I hope you find yourself again, but right now you're lost, and I've been used enough for one lifetime. I wasn't a fan of them keeping the fact they have blarthe from vataea after all she's done for them, but I did give an amazing line. Honestly, Vataea is outright the best character in this series, and i will not hear otherwise. ![]() I did enjoy the whole fake courting to hide her real reasons for travelling thing. I've given it 4 stars because in terms of plot progression, it was quite slow and then fit a lot into the last 100 pages (again). Well, maybe, if you count sadness and crying. Book 2's ending was certainly better than book 1. ![]()
